We know this restaurant has been around a while, but there’s something about the timeless, laid-back luxury at Palomino. Not only it is a great place to take a prospect, client, or significant other for lunch and dinner, but in my opinion, it’s the bar area that really makes this place.
Perfect amount of space… great seating at both the cozy tables and the long bar area. Two TVs for watching those Mavs when you just can’t quite make it over to the AAC. Intimate lighting without being too in the dark. The entire atmosphere is chic and sophisticated without being stuffy or a production. And, a menu that includes not only appetizers, but items that they call “small plates” and “shared plates.” This menu is perfect for those of us who waste all the gargantuan portions that most restaurants serve.
Talking about Palomino is really a double-edged sword for me because it’s one of my favorite places, and I would like it to remain relatively uncrowded so I can grab a table whenever I want. But, with a tagline like “Drop-In Downtown Dining,” Palomino is quite the pleasure.
