Lakewood Landing

The Best Little Road House in East Dallas! Let me tell you about a dive, a self proclaimed “Upscale Dive,” to end all dives hidden in the shadows of tawny Lakewood.  The Lakewood Landing is everything a dive should be:  dark lighting, classic jukebox, good burger, 70’s wood paneling and booths with the leather seats cracked and worn to the cloth.

Before the Dallas City Council banned smoking, you can almost feel the wall of cigarette smoke hitting you in the face as you open the door.  Thankfully, those smoked filled days are gone, but if you do smoke there is a wood deck out front to relax, kick back and sip a brew or a White Zin while puffing on a Joe Camel or Menthol Light, depending upon your persuasion.

The burgers are good, the fries are big, but crisp, and the beer is cold.  Oh yeah, it also has free Wi-Fi.  But most importantly, Lakewood Landing is the perfect place when you want to go out but, don’t want to be seen by anyone you know… hence, the perfect dive.
