Crooked Tree Coffee House

If someone blindfolded me and dropped me off here, I’d swear I was in Austin. A converted house in Uptown Dallas, a coffee house like this is long overdue around here. At Crooked Tree Coffee House the coffee is good and the atmosphere feels like hanging in your living room, although I’d be creeped out if all these people I don’t know were in my living room.
It’s a great homey/social feeling. The music is good coffee house music and not too loud. This place is nicely put together, comfortable, has cool/eclectic art on the walls, and I have a feeling I’ll be spending a lot of time here. If you want an alternative to the usual Starbucks in Uptown, rush to Crooked Tree Coffee House. You’re going to love this place. Especially if you ever spent time in Austin… they even do live music!
