On the brink of the 30th anniversary of Banks Fine Art, the gallery announced an unprecedented sale on the entire inventory. For three decades Maloree and Robert Banks, owners and curators of this long hailed art destination, have masterfully culled artworks for their gallery brimming with original oil paintings from 70-some living artists and antique art. “We wanted to stimulate art sales in a down economy and give our loyal clientele the opportunity to take advantage of major savings on paintings prior to our move,” said Maloree Banks
The new Banks Fine Art location at 1313 Slocum will offer a more intimate gallery space and will be adjacent to Hermitage Antiques. With a focus on high quality original 18th and 19th century European and American paintings, the gallery’s collection harmoniously balances with the surrounding antique furniture hot spot that is Slocum Street. “This is a great marriage with our antique paintings and estate appraisal business,” said Robert Banks. The gallery has earned a peerless reputation with the specialized needs of design professionals and fine art collectors.
Mr. Banks is a certified member of the Appraisers Association of America, Inc. and an active member of the International Society of Appraisers.
